Hi Kate, Ruff Ground is pleased and privileged to be among your stable of friends. May God continue to shine His light of favor upon you, your family and your music, which is timeless and very relevant! Our forthcoming CD entitled “Another Flatline” raises the social issue of gangs that are manipulating our communities through fear and violent acts, inflicting pain and grief on the young and old alike. Our music echoes the need for understanding and awareness and with classic sounds and captivating rhythms we create music everyone can enjoy. Also our website: will provide available resources and tools for solution-based strategies to thwart this growing menace and sustain our sense of community independence.

Much love to you Kate,

"In the physical manifestation, each religion
is like a house... a time comes when your
consciousness expands and the whole world
becomes your house.

At that time, you cannot be bound by the
limitations of any one particular house.
You accept all religions and, at the same time,
you go beyond the domain of religion and
achieve conscious oneness with God.

Each religion is like a river, but when the
river enters into the ocean it has played
its part... it has become the ocean itself;
it has become one with the source."

"All through Andalusia . . . people speak constantly of duende, and recognize it with unfailing instinct when it appears. The wonderful flamenco singer El Lebrijano said: ‘When I sing with duende, no one can equal me.’ . . . Manuel Torres, a man with more culture in his veins than anybody I have known, when listening to Falla play his own ‘Nocturno del Genaralife,’ made his splendid pronouncement: ‘All that has dark sounds has duende.’ And there is no greater truth.

"These dark sounds are the mystery, the roots thrusting into the fertile loam known to all of us, ignored by all of us, but from which we get what is real in art. . . .

"Thus duende is a power and not a behavior, it is a struggle and not a concept. I have heard an old master guitarist say: ‘Duende is not in the throat; duende surges up from the soles of the feet.’ Which means it is not a matter of ability, but of real live form; of blood; of ancient culture; of creative action."

Top 10 Reasons to Join the ‘Running of the Nudes’ xx

Word on the street in spain today, is the youth dont enjoy this sport !

Just like the youth of today dont wanna fox hunting, again it's the old fasioned men who seen to push this dated sport!
or men in general.

Body: Stop the Bloody Bullfight!
Every year, thousands of visitors from around the world arrive in Pamplona, Spain, to join in the “Running of the Bulls”. But tourists are often appalled when they see terrified animals racing through streets that are packed with drinking, brawling people. The bulls’ hooves slip on the pavement as they frantically try to escape the chaos. Sometimes, in their confusion, they bash into doors or the sides of buildings, breaking horns or legs. Human runners and spectators gouge them with sticks or pull their tails, and they, too, are sometimes injured, gored or trampled by bulls who are desperate to escape. What awaits the animals that afternoon is even more gut-wrenching. Already traumatised bulls are tortured in bullfights, in which they are repeatedly stabbed and bled in order to weaken them, and bullfighters sever the animals’ spines while they are still conscious.

Top 10 Reasons to Join the ‘Running of the Nudes’

It’s about babes – not bulls. Hardly-dressed hotties and nearly-nude dudes – need we say more?

Goring is boring! While “Running of the Bulls” revellers are putting themselves at risk of being accidentally gored or trampled by terrified, tormented bulls, we’ll be safely cruising down the cobblestones in our own fun and festive “no-bull” alternative.

Ay carumba! A week-long holiday in Spain would be muy bueno! Where else can you enjoy great food and drink, spectacular scenery and amazing sights while participating in an event that reminds tourists and Spaniards that an animal-friendly celebration is a more positive way to take pleasure in the city of Pamplona and in Spanish culture?

It’ll be a cheeky thing to do – literally. What better way to protest how bulls get a bum rap than to bare your own bum? Besides, hasn’t it always been your naked ambition to help animals?

All the cool kids are doing it. The “Running of the Nudes” attracts hundreds of people from around the world, so it’s the perfect place to make new friends who are just as compassionate and fun-loving as you are.

It’s not every day that you get to hit the streets wearing plastic bullhorns and body paint. You know, it really would be a good look for you …

You’ll be a tourist attraction! Every year, the Running of the Nudes is performed with such passion and positive energy that it’s a tourist attraction in its own right.

You don’t need to worry about which outfit to wear. Just pack your toothbrush and sun block and come as you are. After all, the dress code is very casual! Plus, no tan lines! We can’t think of a better way to have fun in the sun and work on a whole-body tan.

The party’s on PETA. At the finish line, we’ll treat you to the best street party in Pamplona – complete with local music, food, drink and entertainment.

It’s not cool to be cruel. Spain’s Running of the Bulls is a notoriously cruel spectacle – one in which bulls never stand a chance. During the run, bulls are injured and tormented by throngs of people who yank their tails and jab at them with sharp sticks as the animals scramble through slippery streets. In the arena, bulls are stabbed repeatedly to weaken them through blood loss and are forced to run in circles to make them so dizzy and disoriented that they cannot defend themselves. After prolonged agony, the matador (Spanish for “killer”) kills them by putting a sword through their spine.

The Running of the Nudes was born in Pamplona in 2002, when 25 nude people streaked through the winding streets to protest the cruel and bloody bull run and subsequent bullfights.

2003 The second annual Running of the Nudes was six times bigger than the inaugural event, with 150 activists taking to the streets of Pamplona,

2004: More Than 350 Runners in Pamplona

2005 Six hundred people from all over the world participated in the fourth annual Running of the Nudes, wearing red scarves, horns, body paint and little else. More than 90 Spaniards attended, thanks in part to a Pamplona newspaper that included the Running of the Nudes in its official San Fermín Festival guide. The event garnered international media coverage, including in Belgium, France, Latvia, Greece, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Croatia, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Poland and even Australia! Olympians Sally Gunnell and Cathy Freeman and singer Chrissie Hynde wrote to Pamplona Mayor Yolanda Barcina Angulo in support of the Running of the Nudes, and PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk invited US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who has attended the bull run in the past, to show his compassion and attend the nude run. Secretary Rumsfeld did not RSVP, but we remain hopeful that one day we’ll see more of him!

2006 This year was the biggest “Running of the Nudes” ever! Just two days before the first bull run, more than 1,000 people, most wearing little more than a red scarf and horns, ran through the streets of Pamplona. It was an amazing party—a real fiesta—complete with musicians and with people dancing and marching through the streets to show Pamplona that it doesn’t need to torture animals for tourism. As usual, the event attracted international media attention.

lets keep the numbers riseing!

2007 be there or be square! :)

i love you all!
